- I will be gone all day on Wednesday at a Principal's meeting.
- Tiffany Neal will be in the library on Wednesday at 3:30 to provide additional training in using the DRA kits.
- A representative from Learning A-Z will be meeting with grade level teachers on Thursday during your planning period. We will meet in Tammy Mack's room.
- On Saturday, the Community Storehouse is hosting the 17th annual Run in the Dark. Are you interested in doing the Fun Run together? See Joe for more details. You'll need to register online. The school with the largest number in attendance wins the Storehouse Cup.

College Colors Day Graph
An email reminder from Amanda - "Lisa Self had the brilliant idea to make a graph of where everyone in the building went to college, so we are trying to get organized. Here is what we need from you:
On a half sheet of 8 ½ by 11 paper, decorate or design or get creative in any way you can think of! We need your name, the college you attended, and maybe even your job title (fifth grade teacher, assistant principal, librarian…). If you want to print it you can, if you want to go all out and Pinterest it, awesome!!! We just need it turned it to Lisa Self (kindergarten) me (2nd), or Dinah Stringer (1st) by Monday, September 19th. If you could put it in our mailbox, that’d be best."
Dedication Ceremony - September 21st @ 6:00 pm
A special thanks to our dedication committee for meeting last Friday!! I wanted to share some things about that evening:
- Dedication ceremony is on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:00 pm
- Our custodial team will help set up the cafeteria – all chairs will need to be put out.
- Clayton will need to move to the gym that afternoon. (Debbie, can you let them know)
- Staff is going to sit together
- I will be dressed professionally. You are asked to wear your convocation tshirt and a nice pair of pants (no denim, please).
- We need every grade level to invite ONE student to help lead us in the pledges.
- We need everyone to practice the SVES Cheer. You can also practice with your students. https://www.facebook.com/ambermarietx/videos/10100756765195304/
