Delayed Dismissal- Communications
Thank you for your patience during the delayed dismissal this afternoon. When we received notice of the Tornado Warning, we followed our Emergency Preparedness Plan for Severe Weather-Tornado Warning. Our staff did an excellent job quickly and efficiently getting the students to safety. As you can imagine, our phone lines were very busy. In addition to answering your calls as timely as possible, our office staff sent home updates via email, text and Facebook. If you did not receive an email, please stop by the office as soon as possible so we can verify that we have your current email address listed in our files. If you are not signed up for text reminders via Remind, please text @dyerpa to 678-321-6459. Lastly, please be sure to like Dyer Elementary, and Gwinnett County Public Schools on Facebook.
