Digital Citizenship Week is next week!!
Watch for important clips and information that remind students about being good digital citizens.
Munch & Learn set for Wednesday, October 26
You're invited to come to my office for 15 minutes during your break on this day to enjoy a snack and learn about the new virtual desktop, Classlink. Tired of logging into a million things every morning?? Classlink is available at school (on your Teacher menu) and at home (on Whitlow web page - link is top left).
Don't forget!!
Grades are due Monday @ 4:00 p.m.
I'm trying to keep calm!!!!!
Please! I beg you! If you are using these laptop carts with your students, hooray! However, please remind them to plug them back in to charge within the cart and into the wall. Students are just pushing them back to the room or media center where they are housed and just leaving them without plugging them into the wall. That's no fun when you have them reserved the next morning. Please be considerate and let's SYNERGIZE to keep these things up and running properly!! Thanks!
Fun new app for writing online with students
This digital storytelling tool is especially good for poetry. It’s available free on both mobile devices and on a web-based platform and allows kids to embellish their poetry with illustrations and text that capture their emotions. Creations can be kept private or published and they also print well.
Have a great weekend!!!
