NEWS FROM THE NEST
Newsletter from Audubon Park School K8
Good evening APS Parents, Community Members, Teachers and Staff,
If your middle schooler is interested in trying out for APSK8 basketball, tryouts will begin Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 2:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the gym. Sports physicals must be turned in to Coach Howe before tryouts. Click the link below for OCPS physical forms to be submitted to your doctor and returned to APS Athletics.
The gym was packed last week for the Middle School Band & Orchestra Winter Concert. We were excited to see the debut performance of the 5th Grade Strings group. Congratulations to Director Munera and talented students for a beautiful night of music!
Thank you to the Pritts Family for treating the entire staff to a delicious breakfast Friday morning. It was such a wonderful surprise. We are grateful for your generosity and thoughtfulness.
We value and appreciate all of our PTSA volunteers, Falcon Fund donors and Partners in Education who continue to give your time, talents and treasures so generously, so the teachers, staff and administrators can support the needs of all students at APSK8.
Enjoy a safe and restful Winter Break returning January 6, 2020.
THANK YOU TO THE PRITTS FAMILY FOR PROVIDING BREAKFAST FOR THE ENTIRE APS STAFF!

APS College & Career Fair
APS is holding its 1st College and Career Fair for our middle school students on January 14th from 8:40-10:20 AM. Students will use this time to meet with professionals working in a variety of career paths to find a path that ignites excitement for their future.
We can't hold this event without your support though. We are looking for different career professions to come and show off what they do. We are looking for jobs that are trade certified to college graduates; and all in-between. We would like to have a variety of careers represented to allow our students to explore all options available to them. If you would like to come and show off what you do, please sign up using the link below.
For more information, please feel free to contact Michelle Johnson at email@example.com .
