Sustain DCSD
October 2017
Join us for Green U on Nov. 7!
On behalf of your Sustainability Steering Committee, you are invited to participate in Green U: DCSD Sustainability Retreat on Nov. 7th from 7:30am-3:30pm at Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures. This will be the first-ever full-day professional development opportunity at DCSD for you to learn about implementing environmental education at your school.
We will kick off the day with a Sustainability Amazing Race! Green challenges will provide team-building and a crash course in environmental audits and strategies.
Nov. 7th is a professional development day, so no need for substitutes. You will receive a certificate of completion (including hours) for attending, just make sure it's cool with your principal. This event is free due to a generous grant from Waste Management (thank you WM!).
Only 10 spots left, so register today!
Register Here by Oct. 20: https://dcsdk12.revtrak.net/Stone-Canyon/Stone-Canyon-Registration/

They do NOT recycle: refrigerators or large appliances, pianos, or any hazardous waste including paint.
