To Share from Lisa Carson:
We have 2 big events this month for ELL students. Lindbergh International Night on Thursday, March 14th and then Concord's Expo on Tuesday, March 26th. On both of these nights your child's holiday board they created in December will be showcased. We are busy "cleaning up" the boards. I told students that they will be off for 3 1/2 days so they can find more pictures and print them out or e-mail the pictures to me and I will print them out.
If you would like to make a traditional dish for the night, please fill out the form and send it back with your child. You will then deliver your food dish to the high school cafeteria on the 14th. Please use a dish we can throw away. You will not have to serve it. You will just drop it off for people to try.
Also, this year, we are selling t-shirts for a scholarship for an ELL student. Your child that is in ELL will get a t-shirt next Thursday morning from me! YAY!!!!!!! Our FANTASTIC PTG offered to pay for my students. Here is the link if you want a t-shirt for anyone else in your family: http://www.stlouistees.com/lindberghinternational/shop/home
We are VERY excited for this event and we know it will be A LOT of fun and VERY educational. I hope you can make it!
