iTeach MakerCamp 2019
Day 3 - July 17th
Maker Camp Day 3
Campers were entrepreneurs today raising donations for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation!
We started the day with...
- Learning vocabulary such as charity, donations, producer, consumer, goods and services
- Discussing how we could help children with cancer through fundraising and awareness
The Maker Sessions students participated in included designing, building and leading a variety of carnival-themed games such as:
- Pig Races
- Photo Booth
- Balloon Burst
- Lemonade Stand
*Ask your student about which project they worked on and they can tell you the process their team went through to create the games*
We finished the day with...
- Setting up our carnival games on the KSU green space
- Advertising the games to passerby college students and staff
- Explaining the cause we were fundraising for
- Participating in a service project making cards to kids in hospitals
