Town of Sunnyvale - April 22, 2022
Join us for the Trash Off tomorrow, April 23 at Jobson Park!

Town Center Park
In May 2022, the Town of Sunnyvale will begin repainting all sections of Town Center Park. These sections include all ornamental lighting, parking lot lighting, all three pavilions, and the playground shade structure frame.
While this project is taking place, there will be sections of the park blocked off from public use. Staff will do their best to work during the slower hours of park.
Once we have a solid start date, the Town will re-post this information with the time schedule.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Rails to Trails
Beginning Monday, May 16, Legacy Tree Service will begin removing brush, limbs, and trimming trees along the old railroad corridor (now Rails to Trails). This corridor runs from Long Creek Road headed north to Barns Bridge Road. Some work will require Legacy to come in close proximity to Sunnyvale homes and businesses. We anticipate this project will require seven (7) to ten (10) work days, barring inclement weather. Residents will hear the noise of equipment and tools being used to clear this land for the exciting addition of Rails to Trails to our Parks inventory and we ask for your patience and cooperation.
The file below contains a general map so that residents can follow the work as it nears their property.
Work on the road maintenance project continues...
