The Begenning
Shakespeare was born in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, Located on England's Avon River. He was the son of John Shakespeare, and Mary Arden.

Became successful in the leather buisness, after working with farm products and wool.

Mary Arden-Shakespeare
The youngest of eight daughters. Inherited her fathers farm.
Died in December of 1556.
Shakespeare's Children
Susanna
Born in 1583, Shakespeare's oldest child of three.
Hamnet
Born in 1585, oldest out of the two twins. Dies at the age of 11 due to contracting the deadly Bubonic Plague.
Judith
Born in 1585, youngest of the two twins.
Shakespeare is believed to have written 37 plays of which Hamlet is the most famous. Of the 37 plays: 10 are tragedies, 10 are histories, and the remaining 17 are comedies!
Shakespeare also wrote 154 sonnets, which were his most famous pieces of work! One of his most famous sonnets is sonnet 18- Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
