By: Sabrina and Tarsha
Alright so this week’s interviewed teacher is Mr. Hopkins! We asked him 4 questions and his answers are below.
1. ) How long have you taught here at Goff?
Mr. Hopkins: This is my third year at Goff Middle School
2.) How long have you been a teacher and what grades and subjects do you teach?
Mr. Hopkins: I have been a teacher for ten years and I have taught all grades 7-12. The subjects I have taught are Geography, Colonial American History, Civics, U.S History I , U.S History II, Sociology, Psychology, World History, World History AP, Senior Internship Program and also several different English as a Second Language Social Studies classes.
3.) What do you like to do outside of school?
Mr. Hopkins: I am a great fan of the outdoors. I love all winter sports, like skiing, and I enjoy camping, hiking, and fishing. I also love to travel anywhere and experience new cultures and places all over the world.
Mr. Hopkins: I think at this point in time I would still like work with kids in some way (you keep me young), but perhaps as a tour guide of a historic place or monument.
