In January, the PTO starts looking for the new PTO board for the next school year. If you are interested in volunteering as a board member, please contact Jennifer Godwin at threeblondie@gmail.com. The January PTO meeting will be Jan 8th at 6:15 in 8th grade commons. This would be a great place time to let us know what you would like to do next year!
6th Grade Party
For the first time in many years, PTO will be hosting grade level parties. The 6th grade party will be Jan 25th from 6-8pm. The party will be free to attend for all 6th graders who have their student ID with them. We will have karaoke, games stations, and snacks---all available for no charge. We will be asking each team to provide donations of soda, chips, and snacks. Please watch for information to come home asking for donations.
Teacher Snack Day
Our theme for the 3rd quarter teacher snack day is 'Get the New Year Poppin' and we are going to provide a popcorn bar. Watch for information asking for donations of items that the teachers can add to their popcorn bowl.
Parent Teacher Conference Meals
Parent Teacher Conferences will be Feb 5th and 14th. We will need volunteers to help provide desserts and sides for teachers to have a meal that evening. Please watch for information to come home asking for donations.
7th Grade party
We are working on planning the 7th grade party for March. If you are interested in helping plan or volunteering to work at the party, please contact Amanda Kelley at akelley@genesisjcmo.com. Thank you!
