FINANCIAL AID-If you have not completed this process, please contact Counselor Ludlow ASAP (mmludlow@philasd.org)

Reminder to complete the Financial Aid process in order to be eligible for Federal & PA State Aid eligibility. The FAFSA application for Federal Aid eligibility, PHEAA for PA State Aid eligibility.

On your FAFSA form, you can list up to 10 schools. Once your FAFSA is processed and you receive confirmation, you can then edit your schools and add extra schools to your FAFSA. You must re-sign and submit your FAFSA after you complete this.

Remember, you and a parent will need to sign your FAFSA using a FSAID. The FSAID is a secure way to sign your FAFSA. Please keep this information in a secure place so you will have easy access to it next year when you need to renew your FAFSA. If your parent has a FSAID from an older sibling, they will use the same FSAID to sign your FAFSA.

You should also complete your PHEAA (PA State Aid) form. You can only list one school for PHEAA. However, you can always change the school at a later time. You are only eligible for PA State Grant money if you attend a school in Pennsylvania.

Lastly, please be sure to complete the CSS Profile if needed for your school. You will be able to determine if you need the CSS Profile by checking on the website of the college/university if the CSS Profile is needed. You can also check this link for CSS Participating Schools.

Once you complete your FAFSA and list your schools, you will receive Financial Aid Award

Letters from your colleges. We will help seniors to understand how to compare award letters. There are also resources listed below.
