Stakeholder Engagement Activity (Student Activity Day) - 1/15/2021
In order to get more feedback from stakeholders for the upcoming review, we reached out to parents with a survey for input, plus information on how they may be able to support us in a stakeholder engagement activity planned for Friday, January 15, 2021. If you have completed this survey, thank you!
For parents who indicated their interest in participating in the stakeholder engagement activity, we have sent you an email with detailed information on the session start time, the virtual meeting link, and your faculty leader for the session. Students also received an email indicating the same information; students are expected to participate in one session tomorrow, 1/15/2021.

January 18th MLK Jr. Holiday/Justice Sunday Information
This Sunday, students from across the Antelope Valley, in partnership with the City of Lancaster and under the direction of Antelope Valley High School's Mr. Nigel Holly, are celebrating Justice Sunday. This year's event will feature the play "Eclectic" which was written by AVUHSD students! Throughout the play, you'll recognize actors from AVHS, EHS, KHS, SOAR, Anaverde Hills School Bethel Christian School, and Discovery Elementary School. Be sure to stick around after the performance to hear form our local leaders. You can watch this event on LTV (Channel 28) or access it live HERE on Sunday, January 17, 2021, from 4-6pm.
Entries for the AVUHSD's Virtual Talent Show Due Tomorrow (1/15/2021)!
The Antelope Valley Union High School District is hosting a virtual, district-wide, talent show for students. Can you sing, dance, play an instrument, act, rap, time-lapse artwork, or do you have another special talent? Enter Now! Video submission must be 1-2 minutes in length and school appropriate. We're looking for new STARs!
Attendance has a direct correlation to student success! If you miss a high school class for an excusable reason, parents/guardians must email Mrs. Andrews to clear the absence: firstname.lastname@example.org and follow up with your teachers for assignments. Students should follow up directly with college instructors in the case of an absence. Although we are not on campus, we are still responsible for record keeping. Please make attending both your high school and college classes a priority!
Meal services will resume on Monday, January 11th at all eight comprehensive high school campuses from 11am to 1pm for all eligible persons 18 and under Monday through Friday. Meals will also be available at the following locations and times:
