Government of Ancient Egypt
A pharaoh was a person who ruled Ancient Egypt. One of the most famous pharaohs was King Tutankhamun or King Tut for short. He was only nine years old when he first started to rule. He was most known for making a big decision on whether the people of Egypt should worship one god or many gods. He chose to make the people worship many gods. When King Tut died he was only about eighteen years old. Now King Tut is still remembered for what he did.
Culture in Ancient Egypt
One of the most important things in Egyptian culture was religion. The people of Egypt worshiped many gods but they had one main God which was the sun god Aton. The people built shrines and big temples to the gods, and that is were they worshiped them. The people believed that everything that happened in nature was an act of the gods. The people also depended on the gods to give them what they needed.

National Geography
The Nile River played a big role in the national geography in Ancient Egypt. It was the giver and taker of life. Without it many people of Egypt would die. The river provided good soil after floods so people could plant crops. With those crops the people of Egypt could feed their livestock and families. The people of Egypt also used the river for trading with other people and travel. To sum it all up the Nile River was very important.
