Chapter 1: Thutmose III intro
Thutmose III was the sixth pharaoh of the 18th dynasty at first he was co-regent with his aunt Hatshepsut who was named pharaoh. After her death he was named pharaoh. Thutmose III conducted seventeen campaigns. He conquered from Niya in North Syria to the Fourth Cataract of the Nile in Nubia.Thutmose III ruled Egypt for forty-four years including the years he was co-regent with hi aunt. His reign was from April 24, 1479 B.C to March 11, 1425 B.C. When Thutmose III died, he was buried in the Valley of Kings.
