June Monthly Missions Highlight
SCC Missions
The middle of the year has arrived
But alas, it is, and with it comes the stark realization that time flies, whether we notice it, or not.
Are we making the most of our finite time here on earth?
Are we doing as Jesus did, by doing the will of His Father?
Monthly Missions & Church Giving.
Every month we feature one of our mission partners in our Monthly Missions Highlight (MMH). This is a way for us to expose some of the ministries that we regularly support and present an opportunity for the congregation to assist directly in helping us reach our financial commitments to the highlighted ministry. The totals below include the month the ministry was highlighted and any additional funds given since then.

June Monthly Missions Highlight : RMI- Recipricrocal Ministries International
RMI-Reciprocal Ministries international is a holistic, evangelical Christian ministry focused in south Haiti. It works with many of the 400+ MEBSH churches-Missionary Evangelical Baptist of South Haiti. It provides these local churches with evangelistic and discipleship support, food and water filtration distribution, well drilling service, home, church and school construction, agricultural entrepreneurial initiatives with goat and oxen distribution as well as disaster relief. Another compassion focus is the Hope 4 Kids school sponsorship program which enables students in their Christian schools to continue their education. The program includes uniforms, Feed My Starving Children hot lunches, backpack, school supplies and textbooks. RMI's promotion of sister church relationships MEBSH churches led SCC to adopt Formond Baptist Church in 2018. As a result, we help to support our sister church in their ministry and facility needs. Frequent visits to our sister church with a “ministry of presence” is part of RMI’s formula for developing this long term relationship of friendship, fellowship, and faith to the “least of these”. SCC is blessed to have this opportunity to jointly support the RMI/Formond Church partnership.
