Winter Weather Reminder
- We've had lots of exciting weather! The district will make decisions by 6am each morning and all major news channels will broadcast any closings or delays. Sometimes, the GCS Facebook page and the GCS App are a little faster in relaying information. Please check these sites often if there is even a small hint of winter weather. I will send staff emails as well. Thank you!
“I see the standard as a floor, not a ceiling.”
From the Hug Jug!
- “A special thanks for the birthday flowers from ‘anonymous’ last week. I am so honored to work with such wonderful people in our Gateway family.”- Janet Calvage
- Many thanks to our wonderful teachers who led the math PD for us. It was very well presented and took a TON of work!-Susan
- Thank you to everyone for sharing lesson plans, and other great information, to Amy Clark for adding her designer bulletin boards, and to Kristin and Janet for pitching in to teach with me! I appreciate you all more than you know!-Susan
Special Gator Gecognition To......
-Deborah Bowles and Jessica Roselli for holding down the fort during our "Surprise Snow"!
Great Teamwork!
Lock-down Notes:
· People locator forms must be turned in to Calvage after the drill.
· If there is a full lockdown drill and your class is outside, you would not re-enter the building. You would take the students to the pre-designated area. Please check with Mrs. Calvage if you are not sure where our meeting area is.
· If you are in the cafeteria with your class, be sure all the cafeteria doors are pulled shut and that no one is in the line of vision from the doors. The doors are already locked.
Thank you!
