PRINCIPAL’S ACADEMIC HONOR CELEBRATION
Last Thursday during all lunches, CHS celebrated the over 700 students who earned a 3.5+ cumulative GPA while challenging themselves with honors, AP, and IB courses. In addition to music, balloons, banners, and polar pops, the students received State Forty Eight Honors Scholar t-shirts. Nice work, Wolves!
2020 YEARBOOK AWARD
Chandler High School’s 2020 yearbook, PERSPECTIVES, was nationally and internationally recognized in Jostens 2021 Look Book! Chandler’s El Lobo was one of only 460 yearbooks selected from over one thousand yearbooks submitted. The 2021 panel of judges, comprised of nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers, selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 304-page Look Book 2021. Congratulations to the 2020 Yearbook Staff and Mr. Mark Hinton, Yearbook Teacher, for creating PERSPECTIVES, recognized as one of the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and campus-wide inclusivity.

ORCHESTRA “SENIOR” CONCERT
Chandler’s orchestras celebrated their members from the Class of 2021 during last week’s Orchestra “Senior” Concert. The Symphonic and Chamber Orchestras played music from Coldplay, Brahms, and Bach, among others. Ms. Danelle Kennedy conducts the orchestras. Congratulations on a job well done!
BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE DANCE CONCERT
CHS Intermediate and Beginning Dance classes showed off their skills during two great “May Day” concerts last week. The concerts included 16 dances choreographed by students and their teachers, Mrs. White and Ms. Hurtado. The concert was a great way to end the year!
BAND CONCERT
The Wolfpack Pride Bands were able to perform their spring concert last week in the CHS courtyard. While it was very warm, the bands did an excellent job. The concert included two jazz bands, two concert bands, and a duet performed by two seniors, Katarina Fenner and Jose Castro. The concert also featured an original composition for concert band by Senior Jose Castro. Well done, bands!
