Principal's Message - Introducing Care Solace

Dear Pinewood Families,

The health and safety of our school community is a priority for the Pollock Pines Elementary School District. With this in mind, I am excited to share that our district has partnered with Care Solace to assist those in need in finding mental health programs and counseling services.

Care Solace, an online resource with a live 24/7 concierge is available to support our students, their families, and staff at no cost. Representatives will help link participants to appropriate mental health providers, counseling services, and/or substance abuse programs.

Please take the time to read a more detailed explanation of how to access Care Solace in the letter that follows from Superintendent Pat Atkins. This letter provides a unique internet link for our school community to access this resource as well as phone number to connect directly to the concierge team. In addition, the following video demonstrated how to navigate the Care Solace website.

As a district we are committed to being part of your support system. It is important to note that this is an optional resources that families can choose to access. Care Solace is simply one tool we can offer to help our school community stay healthy.

Please reach out if you have questions about this program.

100 Day - Fun for all Ages

On Tuesday, our youngest students celebrated the 100th day of school. Many classes centered their learning around the concept of 100. Our Kindergarteners especially enjoyed making their 100 day hats and necklaces. Perhaps the most entertaining part of this day was seeing many of them dress up as their one hundred year old self!
