POWERSCHOOL PASSWORDS SHOULD NOT BE SAVED ON CHROME(ir FireFox)
Saving Your PowerSchool Password
PowerSchool users should NOT let Chrome (or FireFox) automatically remember/save your PS password. This is a security risk since anyone who opens Chrome on your computer would be able to login to PS as you!
If you need to see a list of your saved passwords in Chrome and “turn off” the saved password for the PowerSchool URL, follow these directions:
1. In the upper right corner of your window, click the Chrome menu .
2. Choose Settings.
3. At the bottom of the page, click Advanced settings.
4. Under "Passwords and forms" section, Click Manage passwords.
5. You can toggle the button to the Off position so you are not given the option of saving your web password.
6. In the "Saved passwords" section, all of the websites are listed which have a saved password.
7. You should select the icon at the end of the PowerSchool web address listed and select the Delete option so that your PS password is no longer saved.
Grades Due November 1
Q1 Final Grades are due November 1st by 4:00!
We heard your concerns and adjusted our process to eliminate the printing requirements.
It is imperative that you follow the directions carefully to finalize your grades!
Grade verification checklists from previous years or that are accessed on the staff drive are no longer the correct process! Please follow the directions on this e-mail to finalize your grades.
If you need assistance with this process Mrs. Finlay and/or Mrs. Taylor will be available in C109 all day on October 31st.
Step 1: Grade Prep Checklist
Use this checklist to ensure that your Q1 Report Card grades have been prepared properly. This form is for teacher use only. Do NOT submit this form to your IC.
Step 2: Electronic Verification Form
**This is new!** Please use the link below to submit your grade verifications. Please note you DO NOT need to submit a paper copy to us, although we highly recommend printing a paper copy or save an electronic copy for your own records.
Step 3: Finalize Q1 Grades in PowerTeacher
**This is also new! Follow these directions carefully** Click the link below for directions on how to officially finalize your grades in PowerTeacher.
Finalize Q1 Grades in PowerTeacher Directions
Once you finalize your grades DO NOT ENTER ANY MORE GRADES UNTIL YOU GET THE ALL-CLEAR FROM GUIDANCE!
Sorry to be shouty and use all caps but it's really important that the instructions are followed carefully. Let us know how we can help! Also, if you don't understand the cartoon you should go watch The Lego Movie. Happy Tuesday!
