Who wants to be a Hawk Hero?
Hanawalt Elementary has a new volunteer program called Hawk Heroes. We are looking for adults in our community who would like to work with a student for as little as 30 minutes each week during the school year. If you are interested, you can get a head start by filling out the Volunteer Form on the DMPS Website. (Everyone entering the building must have the form filled out.) There will be an informational meeting about Hawk Heroes for anyone interested. Our kids are amazing and we know that there are so many of you who can help to make a difference in their lives. Please share and spread the word to others as we hope to have a great group volunteers for this program!
