HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

HARP IN LA NEW HARP FIRST YEAR UPDATE

HOW ARE YOU? HOW IS YOUR HARP?

It's been just over a year since the purchase of your harp from HARP IN LA. We would like to make sure everything is going well with you and your harp.

ARE YOU PLAYING? ARE YOU TUNING?

The best service you can do for your harp (and yourself!) is to regularly tune and play your instrument. Tuning and playing keeps your harp in tip-top shape; its sound will become more beautiful, its body will be able to flex and perform at its best and it will extend the life of your instrument. And that means ALL the strings!

If you are not playing or tuning your harp regularly, it's not too late! HARP IN LA can suggest music or a teacher to get you started again.

CHECK YOUR STRINGS:

Look at your harp's strings. If any seem worn, frayed or dirty, they may need to be replaced. You'll be amazed at how your tone can improve with good strings. Think about purchasing an extra set of strings for your harp, or at least a spare FACE set*.

*WHAT IS A FACE SET OF STRINGS?

IN WHICH YOU HAVE THE F, A, C, AND E STRING FROM EACH OCTAVE. IN A PINCH, AN A CAN BE USED TO REPLACE THE A, G, OR B AND AN E CAN BE USED TO REPLACE THE E OR D. THE COLORED STRINGS ARE F AND C - THOSE CANNOT BE SWITCHED OUT - TOO CONFUSING!

INSURANCE: ARE YOU COVERED?

If your harp is not insured, see about adding it to your home owners or renters insurance policy. There are also instrument insurance plans available.
