Background Information: The Korean War (1950-1953)
After the events World War II, the Soviet Union occupied the Northern Peninsula of Korea and the United States occupied the Southern Peninsula.
The war began on June 25, 1950 when over 75,000 N.K.A. soldiers crossed the 38th parallel.
On September 15th 1950, U.N. troops landed in an amphibious assault at Inchon. They were very successful and the U.N. effectively cut the N.K.A. in half and pushed them out of South Korea.
