Speeding is the greatest cause of death and injuries on roads.

Between 2009 and 2013, speeding has made up an average of 17.7% of all crashes.

In 2013, an estimated 4050 people were killed/injured in accidents caused by speeding. Over 440 of those involved were between the ages of 17 and 20. And 60% of them were drivers.


Transport for NSW

The NSW Centre for Road Safety has a number of campaigns in regards to speeding, and other road safety issues, too. These campaigns help to raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of speeding.
