Important Announcements
Distance Learning
There is a schedule for when each teacher will be available for a Google Meet to help answer any questions about the assignments given throughout our time away.
All work will be posted in Google Classroom.
ELA
There’s no school on Monday. We will be starting our virtual classes on Friday, November 6th. Students can access all information and assignments on Google Classroom. If you have any questions, teachers are available by email, Google Meet, and/or Remind. Advisory Google Meets are everyday at 9:00 AM and teacher office hours are from 8-9 AM and 2-3 PM.
If you haven’t scheduled a date for FMS Fall Family Conference, conferences end on November 13.

This week we continued exploring Unit 2 Objective: European Explorers.
We learned about some Portuguese Explorers and will be looking at if Christopher Columbus is a Hero or Villon. Check out this book called, "Encounter" and decide for yourself.
Learning Target for the Week:
Compare the reasons that Europeans wanted to explore and settle in the new world - explaining the similarities in the explorer's goals, and differences in the way they created settlements and treated the natives.
