A Message from our Principal
Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,
Olivia Vasquez, Annie Fatima, Tyler Phillips, Christian Paddock, and Lily Barker proudly represented HFCS in the Procession of Banners at the 50th Anniversary of the Diocese of Fort Worth last Wednesday night! Thank you to all of our dedicated teachers, and the parents and students, who attended this important celebration.
The teachers have had a great week with your students and are looking forward to seeing you at Meet the Teacher Night next Tuesday, August 27th. We have created three different sessions so parents with multiple children will have time to visit all of their children’s classrooms. Childcare will be provided in the Cafeteria for children ages 3 and older. Here is the schedule for the evening:
6:00p – 6:15p: Opening Prayer/Announcements/Teacher Introductions – Parish ABC Room.
6:20p – 6:40p: First Session
6:40p – 7:00p: Second Session
7:00p – 7:20p: Third Session
Good news! Scantlin Hall will be getting a new gym floor, installation will begin on September 9th.
It was great to talk with all of you who came to The Coffee and Conversation with the Principal last Wednesday morning! Thank you Angie Uptmore and HSA for sponsoring this event.
I have been visiting classrooms and had a great time reading to the K, PK3 and PK4 students this week! The 1st and 2nd graders have been creating art in response to books that they have been reading in class.
It is such a pleasure to be here at Holy Family Catholic School, thank you for your warm welcome!
Teaching the Way of Jesus Christ,
Mrs. Ann Walters, MPS
