Year 6 Welcome Worship
The Year 6 children planned all their worship about courage independently and covered the topic in Bible stories, courage in sport, courage in today's world and courage amongst famous and not so famous people. The pupils were keen to share how they thought Mrs Hart showed courage by starting a new venture which will help her to 'flourish'. Well done Year 6.
Arrangements for Tuesday
Please come along for a slice of cake and a cup of tea on Tuesday 11th February, there is so much to celebrate about all of Mrs Binks' many wonderful years at Ripon Cathedral School! The plan is for people to drop in between 2.30 and 4pm as it suits them. However, we will not be releasing any children early, so you may like to come along either before you pick up your children, or afterwards, to make collection easier.
If you would like to bring a cake or baked item for the tea party, please would you let the office know? We're only guessing at numbers but we feel there may be quite a lot of people as Mrs Binks has been there at the start of so many children's lives, so any suitable donations would be really appreciated! Many thanks.
Training day/parent consultations Friday 14th February
This means that the school will be open as normal on Friday 6th March.
Bookable Oscar's provision will be available on Friday 14th February.
Oscar's Training Day
Oscar's is not open in the half term break as numbers booked in did not reach our minimum. However, next Friday, 14th February, we are definitely welcoming children into school if they are booked into Oscar's. Please remember, school is closed to children in general as it is a training day and parent teacher appointments are running at the start and end of the day.
In order to help parents with planning the Easter holidays, we can confirm again that Oscar's will be running for three days (whatever the numbers!) - Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th April.

If you haven't been able to come today, remember to have a rummage on the first Friday in March!
After half term we have The Big Family & Friends Quiz night on Thursday 5th March at 3.30-5.30pm in the school hall. Letters went home with children last Friday on how to enter your team, If you have lost your letter please go and see Mrs Bingham at the front office for another one.
