Holy Cross Thunderbolt Newsletter
May 25, 2022

Holy Cross Catholic School guides each student in developing academic, emotional and physical excellence while spreading the Gospel message as Jesus did, since 1868.

"We can be changed by what happens to us, but we must refuse to be reduced by it." - Maya Angelou
While we all acknowledge and grieve the tragedy that affects our neighbors in Christ in and around the Uvalde, Texas community, please also join in prayer as we continue to bind together keeping each other safe and strong.
Out Of Darkness Comes Light
God, make us brave for life:
Oh, braver than this and ever before.
Let us straighten after pain,
As a tree straightens after the rain,
Shining and lovely again.
God, make us brave for life;
As the blown grass lifts,
Let us rise too
From sorrow with quiet eyes,
Knowing Your way is wise and right.
God, make us brave.
Help us to keep our sight on You;
And vision to know
That out of darkness comes light.
Oh, braver than this and ever before.
Let us straighten after pain,
As a tree straightens after the rain,
Shining and lovely again.
God, make us brave for life;
As the blown grass lifts,
Let us rise too
From sorrow with quiet eyes,
Knowing Your way is wise and right.
God, make us brave.
Help us to keep our sight on You;
And vision to know
That out of darkness comes light.
Amen
