Adaptations

Behavioral

Behavioral adaptations are the things organisms do to survive or continue the species. To the right you can see a picture of birds migrating to the South. This is a behavior that the birds do to help keep the species from dying in the winter.

Physiological

Physiological adaptation is an adaptation that is made in an individual organism that responds directly to an external change (changes based of the environment). To the right you can see a picture of a tan person. Tanning is our bodies way of keeping us from getting sun burned.

Anatomical or Physical

Changes to the shape or structure of the organism. To the right you can see a fish with an adaption of camouflage. The fish has adapted so that its skin blends in with the ground. This could be to help hunt other fish or to keep it self safe form predators.
