- Keep going! You can do it! It's the 3rd Marking Period and the last chance to improve that first semester average on your transcript. GPA and ranking will come out after Christmas break and those Senior transcripts will be sent to the colleges of your dreams. It's not too late to push yourself and make it a great first semester.

Counselor High School Tips
Colleges are looking for well-rounded students with many experiences beyond the classroom.
* Check your Skyward weekly https://skyward10.iscorp.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/WService=wsedupleasantgrovetx/fwemnu01.w
* Google Classroom-Download Google Classroom on your phone and your parent's phone. You can set up notifications and even a calendar to remind you of due dates and classwork.
* Talk to your teachers; be your own advocate!
* Come prepared for advisory with work or study guides for help-Need supplies? Come to the Counseling Office and we can get you what you need to be successful, including pencils and paper!
* Stay organized and create a routine: Use your phone to set up reminders, alarms and download planner apps to help you stay organized.
* Example- After school: Snack, relax, check Google and assignments, do your homework in a quiet environment (Could even be in your car) Do you what you have to do to be efficient.
* Talk to your Counselor! We are here to help!
