Technological Literacy
Project Description
AIESEC Malaysia is partnering with one of South-East Asia's largest NGOs: SOLS 24/7. We are offering exchange participants the opportunity to develop their own educational program with the support of SOLS 24/7, and then implement it during a 7 week placement at one of their community centers.
Exchange participants get to work in one of 40 local communities across Malaysia, teaching basic IT and any tech related subjects they are interested in (e.g. photography, music production, videography).
Each community is different, ranging from urban, to rural, to jungle, to islands and to small town or township.
Teaching to Malay people, Indians, Chinese and even native indigenous tribes people. The age groups of students also varies from center to center, ranging from young children to middle aged housewives.

WHY Malaysia?
There is only one place where all the colours, flavours, sounds and sights of Asia come together , Malaysia. No other country has Asia's three major races, Malay, Chinese, Indian, plus various other ethnic groups in large numbers. Nowhere is there such exciting diversity of cultures, festivals, traditions and customs, offering myriad experiences. No other county is "Truly Asia" as Malaysia.
