THE SHIRT HOLDS TRUTH
You're Stuck Until 6/30
Sorry. So sorry I could not discuss prior to the announcement.
It's compounded with the fact that we don't know if we will be able to get back together any time soon. We are an effusive, close-knit bunch who thrive on connections and being together.
One of my good friends told me many years ago that whenever a person leaves (for good or bad), it is felt to be a death, divorce, or desertion. Emotions need to be dealt with as such. I have known for a month that I would be leading a different school (didn't know which school). I have had time to grieve. I am now at the acceptance stage. Doesn't make it easier to think about leaving y'all.
You are stuck with me until June 30th. I'm not dead, can't travel, and I am not going anywhere for a couple of months.
I've already gone filter-free. Maybe Corona-related or may be MBES related.
Thanks for all of your kind messages. I'll expect more in June.
We've got this! We will continue to meet on Mondays and who knows what you will hear!?!?

DONATION TO COBB COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY

As soon as it was all packed up, Kevin Gardner arrived and took seven boxes of wipes and two LARGE boxes of hand sanitizer to redistribute through the Cobb County Emergency Management Agency. This group takes needs requests and will share the supplies with different groups: potentially fire fighters, funeral homes, police, or wherever there is currently a critical need. I am grateful that we were able to do this! We only donated half the stash - and have kept the rest for when we return!
