From the Principal
Midland Mustang Families,
Well, we all made it! This has unquestionably been the most unique school year that any of us have experienced! I am grateful to each of you for all your efforts during the school closure. Our teachers worked hard in preparing lessons, but you and your students had to find a way to get the learning done. I know it was not always easy, but you did it! Your child continued to learn because of your efforts!
The guidelines for next year have come out, and I'm sure we all feel grateful that we will have students back in the building. The truth is, however, that we still have to plan to follow the CDC and Washington State Health regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Our administrative teams will be working all summer to create plans for a safe return for all students and staff. I will be sure to communicate with you periodically through the summer, once we have more details.
For your calendar, please note that the first day of school is September 8th! For those families who are moving to a new area or school, we wish you all the best. Remember, once a Mustang, always a Mustang! For those who are returning, it will be a sweet reunion to see each of you again face to face!
I hope you and your family have a very safe, healthy and happy summer!
~Mrs. Dawson
