Swift Weekly Update
May 31, 2021
A Message from the Principal
We will be hosting two outdoor performances this week for all our students. On Tuesday, June 8th our students will be mesmerized by the magic of Mr. Chad Juros, and on Friday, June 11th, the students will enjoy Optimus Prime's presentation, "Rising Up Against Bullies". Virtual students are invited to attend, you will be sent the information via email. Should you have any questions, feel free to call or email.
Again, a reminder to return all library books and to check the "lost and found" bin.
Have a great weekend, hopefully, we will see some sunshine.

Going on Safari
Students in Mrs. Grimes' class enjoyed learning about various habitats. They created safari hats, made posters, wrote research papers, made crafts, and created a habitat diorama as a STEM design challenge. They enjoyed sharing their creativity with their classmates. Great job, kiddos!

EHTHS Hosts 3rd Graders Celebration
Key Club will host a type of celebration for the third graders as they will be "graduating" from their elementary schools and moving on to Miller School next school year. There will be three different days that would have three different themes (each child can only attend one) to better suit the large population of third graders. The flyer for the event is attached in the link below . For the most part, the events will consist of an overview of the new school, a Kahoot pertaining to the theme, crafts, and an at home scavenger hunt. The main focus of these events would be a type of celebration for the accomplishments our 3rd graders have had this past school year and to get them prepared for what is to come next year.
