Below is a link to the NEACAC college fair listings. These college fairs are free and often have 80-100+ colleges represented. These fairs are a great chance to go and ask questions from each college represented. There are two fairs of note that are being held close by. They are at Western New England University (Sunday, September 18 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.) and Worcester State University (Sunday, October 2nd from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.).

Sports Updates
The Quaboag Varsity Boys Soccer Team (ranked 10 for D5 in MA) has gone undefeated so far this season. This week I interviewed Head Coach Steve Pultorak. Coach Pultorak has been coaching at Quaboag for 6 years. This is his second year coaching the Boys Varsity Team. This year’s team consists of a lot of Seniors: Brandon Allen, Cadel Courtney, Ilias Enetzelis, Gage Lane, Gabe Paquette, Chase Potvin, and Charlie Schwenker. Pultorak says that “the Seniors understand this is their last year and they want to win a State Title!” Their drive to win has definitely shown through with the boys going undefeated so far! Not only is their drive forcing them to win, but Pultorak says it's also their defensive line and the brotherhood. Quaboag’s Defensive line has only let in 5 goals, while the teams they have played allowed the Cougars to score 24 points. With the success of the team, I would imagine that gap to only grow wider. The solid defensive line has allowed the “high-flying” offensive line to score and win games. Not only do the boys function well on the field, but they function well off of the field. The boys have developed a unique brotherhood that is leading to their success, “this is a core group of kids that have been playing Soccer together probably since they were old enough to walk! The fathers of some kids have been coaching them and managed to keep this group together over the years… at this point, they know each other's strengths, weaknesses, and tendencies.” As many know, members of the team shaved their heads after their win over Auburn High School, bringing the Cougars to a 6-0 record. Those who shaved their heads include Gage Lane, Antonio Congelos, and Ryan Miner. “This shared experience develops into a deep bond that carries you through to the next battle and so on.” The team is taking it one game at a time, reviewing game footage to see what they can approve upon and see how other teams play. The team hopes to continue their undefeated season when they play their Homecoming game on Saturday 10/1 against Oxford at 2:30.
