Your Weekly Update from Memorial Elementary School
Principal's Message
Dear Memorial Families and Caregivers:
February is Black History Month, when stories of heroism, resilience, justices and injustices are told, and the recounting of our uncommon and powerful pasts is shred to help lead us to a common future of equity and justice for all. This month, teachers and students are engaging in Black History activities, and discussions about equity for all. It is a value we must share and a goal we take pride in together at Memorial.
February also marks the 100th day of the school year. The faculty and staff are continuing to excel and make positive contributions across the school. We are also continuing to celebrate our students for their talent and contributions. Let’s keep doing the great work together; may our differences make us stronger. May the paths of success we strive to pave for our students bring them joy and success.
Your support and feedback is always appreciated as we proceed with the all too important process of moving our school forward and offering an education that prepares our students for the 21st century.
Respectfully,
Troy
