A Note From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed winter break with your families. We are excited to get back in the swing of things here at school! As a reminder, the kids go outside for recess as long as the "feels like" (wind chill) temperature is above 15 degrees. PLEASE send your students to school with COATS, HATS, GLOVES, SNOWPANTS, AND BOOTS EVERY DAY! It's also a great idea to send an extra set of clothes (including socks) to school with your kids every day, in case their clothes get wet or muddy. Thanks for your help! 2024 is going to be a great year!
Thank you,
Mathew Prezioso
Principal, Munson Elementary
Mr. Prez's Pic of the Week
We are so excited to have added a book vending machine to our school!! Students will have the opportunity to earn tokens that can be cashed in for popular books that they can keep! Fiona, Hannah, and Lincoln got to try it out for the first time at the Hilltopper Awards.
Infinite Campus Annual Update
The Annual Update must be completed by ALL Chardon Local Schools households every year, for every student, even if there are no changes. This ensures that you have created your Parent Portal Account so that we have the most accurate information for your student and household. This helps us to contact you promptly in case of an emergency, allows you to pay for student meals and school fees online, and gives you access to important forms and documents, including report cards. We need your updated information as soon as possible! Please find Annual Update instructions HERE.
Shout out to Mrs. Sobodosh, Mr. Buemi, and Mrs. McClintock's classes for completing ALL of their Annual Updates! Mrs. Suszynski, Mrs. Woodrow, and Mrs. Burress's classes each have only ONE left to complete! Mrs. Hardman/Mrs. Reinhard (2 left) is close behind, followed by Mrs. Turk and Mrs. Ferguson with 3, Mrs. Dinko and Mrs. Bates/Miss Gillespie with 4, and Mrs. Elliott with 9.
If you are not sure if your Annual Update has been completed, please contact the office. Thank you!
