Michael Jordan is a famous basketball player. His real name is Micheal Jeffrey Jordan.He was born on February 17,1963. He is 52 years old. Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York but moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was 7 years old. Michael Jordan is a son of Deloris who worked as bankers. Micheal Jordan is a forth child out of five children.


Michael Jordan won six championships and was the FINALS MVP six times. He played for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to a record 72 wins in 1995 to 1996 NBA Season. Michael Jordan earned the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness," because of his leaping ability which was illustrated by performing slam dunks from the free throw line in slam dunk contests. Michael Jordan won two Olympic gold medals with the USA team, famously playing on the 1992 Dream Team.

He was always the first one at his basketball practices and the last one to leave. At Michael Jordan’s high school basketball game Michael Jordan got kicked out, because he missed a free throw at the buzzer. But after the game MIchael Jordan stayed 6 hours after the game throwing free shots.
