Virtual education by its very nature is time bound. The students are required to learn a subject or topic in predetermined amount of time. e.g., the class may be designed such that the students may have a week to complete an assignment or they must show content mastery of a subject over 9 week period. In a blended or online classroom setting, learning may be synchronous, asynchronous or have an overlap.
