Teacher Appreciation
Thank you for showing love to our teachers and staff this week! Flowers will be collected at both entrances to the school tomorrow morning. They will then be redistributed into bouquets for all teachers and staff. And on Wednesday, any snack or beverage items can be dropped off at the front office.
We still REALLY NEED VOLUNTEERS to help with flowers on Tuesday morning. We also REALLY NEED help with our staff room surprise (cleaning, moving and assembling furniture, painting, etc) on Wed, Thur, and Friday. Opportunities to volunteer will be listed on myimpact. There will be several opportunities into the late afternoon/evening so if you have teens or other family members who are registered BSD volunteers we would love to have their help!
And please be sure to support KONA ICE as they support our teachers Tuesday afternoon May 2 from 3:30-5:30pm!
On The Move
A 6 week On The Move program will be starting on May 10th and will be running Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (as long as weather holds up!) during the lunch recesses from 10:30am - 1pm. For those who haven't done this before, On The Move is a program where students can elect to run laps during recess time to win prizes as they reach their running goals. Those who run a whole marathon will win a grand prize! We will need volunteers for this so please check myimpact or reach out to pto@oakhillspto.org if you would like to be involved.
Popcorn Friday May 12th
We have all the volunteers, now we just need popcorn fairies! Please use the link below to sign up (be sure to go to the May sheet) - there are still lots of spots left! Remember all proceeds benefit the 5th grade celebration. Thank you!
