Health and Wellness: Week 6
May is Mental Health Awareness month and now more than ever we need to take care of our mental health. In recognition of mental health awareness, for the month of May we will be discussing strategies, coping skills and activities that support our mental health.
This week we will discuss how to cope with our feelings of stress and anxiety, activities that promote family time and the importance of eating a well balanced diet.

We truly are what we eat, think about how you feel when you eat a salad vs. when you eat a cheeseburger. I know that when I choose to eat that cheeseburger I end up feeling tired and have a lack of motivation. A good alternative is to swap out the burger roll for a lettuce wrap!
