The statements that apply to today's PD are:
- Activities were of a type that engaged participants over a sustained period of time allowing for analysis, discovery, and application as they relate to student learning, social or emotional achievement, or well-being.
- This professional development aligned to my performance as an educator.
- The outcomes for the activities relate to student growth or district improvement.
- The activities offered for this event aligned to State-approved standard in Professional Development Standards, Illinois Content Area Standards, Professional Educator Standards, and Illinois Professional Leader Standards.
The work that we are doing by connecting our resources and strategies to the standards on our curriculum map is directly connected to our school improvement plan and our strategic planning document. All three areas of our School Improvement Plan are connected to today's ER agenda. These activities directly connect to our vision to be a model of student achievement for elementary school districts in the State of Illinois.
The outcomes of today's professional development will impact both your professional growth and student growth in regards to content knowledge, skills, and social & emotional growth. You are all knowledgeable of the content and I am confident you will organize yourselves and remain engaged in the activities.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to this very important work!
