Spice Up Your Presentations ...123

It can be challenging to keep your students' attention especially after a long weekend of watching TV, playing on smartphones, Kindles, iPads, etc. If you were like many of my family members this past weekend, you or your family were engaged with a variety of media. This can be fun on a Thanksgiving weekend but can be quite difficult to engage students in the classroom. Here are some ideas and resources for spicing up your next presentation or sharing with your students.

  1. Read these tips from Katie Lepi @ Edudemic- 3 Quick Ways to Spice Up Your Presentations.
  2. Checkout one of these online tools. Prezi / SlideRocket / Slideshare

Cyber Safety Resources

In order to be compliant with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) and receive eRate technology funding, all students must be taught appropriate online behavior, including social networks, chat, and cyberbullying. Click here to learn more about CIPA Compliance.

Taylor ISD provides a Cyber Safety course within Gaggle and several lessons within Learning.com so be sure to share those with students.
