Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Principal's Letter
Prairie Point Families:
This was a wonderful week of thanks and celebration. Throughout the week we celebrated our amazing teachers and staff during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. We are truly fortunate to have such a caring and supportive group of educators working with our students each and every day. I am grateful for the Prairie Point teachers and staff members.
I would also like to recognize and thank your Home and School Organization for celebrating our teachers and staff throughout this week. We were showered with love and appreciation each day of the week. We are so very lucky to have a supportive group of parents. I would also like to thank and recognize our outgoing Home and School Board members. Angela McCumber has served as our H&S President and Corie Sedlacek served as our H&S Treasurer. We are grateful for their dedication and support of Prairie Point. I am also happy to welcome our new Home and School Board members for the 2021-22 school year:
Beth Kremer and Katie Lund - Co-President
Erin Szostak - Vice President
Rachel Murray - Corresponding Secretary
Finally, I would like to recognize and wish all of our moms a Happy Mother’s Day. I hope that you are celebrated and spoiled on Sunday. As always, Mrs. Fahey and I are here to help. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us. I hope that you have a fantastic weekend!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jennifer Groves
Principal

May ART is sure to please all ages. From celebrating Mother's Day with a bouquet of spring blooms, exploring space, finding look-a-like pets/people and playing a game of paddle board, let's continue to work together to keep the kids connected to ART and to each other, virtually. Parents, please don't think of this as more remote screen time. The kids who have been drawing me with virtually already know that this is FUN creative time! Through drawing, we wake up our imaginations. We un-mute. We tell stories about our weekly pictures. We get silly and meet new ART friends. To my current ART'mates, THANK YOU for your continued loyalty to me and to ART. I am super excited to draw more amazing pictures with you in MAY. You can find the direct registration links below. If your family hasn't drawn with me virtually yet, try one class first. Your child will thank you and I will too. Only $8/class. Siblings (and adults) living in the same household draw with me for free. Choose your preferred day and time below. Zoom link will land in your inbox 30 minutes before drawing time. COME DRAW WITH ME. Artfully yours, MRS. G Youth Drawing Director Young Rembrandts Southwest Suburbs (815) 242-2259 May DRAWING CLUB REGISTRATION LINKS:
