Classes seen in the library
During the month of September, 98 classes visited the library for an introductory lesson. Later September lessons on the Gale databases featuring Al Roker's Storm of the Century, a comprehensive tale of the Great Galveston Hurricane of 1900. The final week began the exploration of Destiny, including how to create holds, For our campus participation in the Lonestar list's Guerrilla Games, highlights of featured books was conveyed. This task fit well with the introduction to Overdrive.
Top two students from each grade level based on circulation of books for September:
Sixth grade: Danny Lacour with 23 books, and Andre Lange with 20 books.
Seventh Grade: karis Anderson with 28 books, and Hailey Reed with 16 books.
Eight Grade: Diane Nolasco with 19 books, and Ana Cabrera with 16 books.

Manvel Junior High Library had for the month of September 4,762 items circulate. Of these, 2,699 items were works of fiction, 893 items were graphic novels, 463 items were art or sports books, and 119 items were historical works.

Clubs held in the library each week
Monday is Jewelry Club until 5:15. We are working on Earrings.
Tuesday is Future Problem Solvers until 5:30. Our topic is Genetics.
Thursday is Sewing Club until 5:15. We are sewing a pumpkin quilt.
