Thursday, March 17- Serving MTCS Board Members Dinner. Please be in the library ready to serve from 5:15-6:30pm. Parents can pick up students in front of elementary. Students need to wear school uniform and service apron. Sign up is full.

Saturday, March 19- Meet at Greenhouse Ministries to help with the Mobile Food Pantry from 8-11am (Due to crowds and being in an open space, we must have an adult for every three students) Due to limited numbers, students need to have an email sent to kelleymullins@mtcscougars.org verifying that parents have given permission to participate before signing up. Sign up sheet is outside Mrs. Webb's room.

Saturday, March 19- Special Kids Race- earn an hour for participating (no sponsors will be at this event)

Thursday, March 24- Serve at the Veterans Dinner from 6:00-7:30pm in the Varsity Gym. Parents and 4th/6th graders are needed to serve. 5th graders will not be helping during the dinner but they can earn hours after the dinner by helping to clean up. Approximately 400 will be in attendance so we can use as much help as possible. Students need to wear black dress pants and a white dress shirt with service apron. Sign up sheet is outside Mrs. Webb's classroom.

Friday, April 8- Breakfast Club
Saturday, April 23- Run Cougar Run (earn an hour by participating in race or working water station) More info will be available closer to event
Wednesday, May 11- Worship Service at Westbrook Towers from 6:30-7:30pmYoung men are needed to lead prayer, read scripture and give a 2-5 min devotional thought. Young ladies are needed to sit with the residents and just talk with them.
Friday, May 13 Breakfast Club with picture slideshow
Monday, May 16th- Field Trip for those that have earned at least 15 hours. We will be eating lunch at Chilis and then touring Greenhouse Ministries and one other nonprofit.
Friday, May 20- Elementary Awards Day- Students with 15 or more hours will receive a certificate.
Please Note:
Ideas: check with nonprofits to see how you can get involved, volunteer at your church, nursing homes, pet establishments (some do have a minimum age), etc.
Club sponsors are happy to help out if you are struggling to find ways to serve or if you are not sure if something would count as hours.
Important Change
The notebook is located on the red table in her room. (We will also have it at each breakfast club.) Service hour forms are inside. See Mrs. Webb if you have any questions. Mrs. Webb does have everything recorded from last semester that was done with us or turned in. Therefore you just need to add what hours for this semester.
