Wolf Pack
East Grand Plains Elementary School- September 2021
Welcome Back
Be On Time: School doors open for students at 7:45AM and the tardy bell rings at 8:00AM. Please help students be on time and ready to learn.
Masks: Make sure that students show up with a clean mask. Wash these often and remind students to wear them properly.
Not Feeling Well: If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home and call the office. We want to keep as many students in school as possible. Also, help them get to bed on time so that they can get lots of rest!
Early Release: Wednesday is early release. Students are dismissed at 1:45PM
We are looking forward to a great school year at EGP! Thank you for working with us to give your child the best education around!

Meet the Principal: Mrs. Busby
It is a pleasure to introduce myself and share my excitement about joining the East Grand Plain Wolves family! Since the start of the school year, I have enjoyed meeting the students, staff, and some of the community. I have been amazed to see the accomplishments and commitment at EGP. It is truly an honor to be a part of this wonderful and dedicated community.
I would like to share a little bit of information about myself. I am married to a wonderful husband and teacher and we have an almost four-year-old son who is our greatest joy. My educational experience has included spending several wonderful years as a mathematics teacher at Mountain View Middle School. After completing my Education Administration and Master’s in Business degrees, I had the pleasure of expanding my role in education as an assistant principal at Sierra Middle School.
I have a tremendous passion for working with wonderful students and staff and I am looking forward to working together to provide an outstanding learning experience for every child at East Grand Plains.
Sincerely,
Cortney Busby
East Grand Plains Elementary Principal
