PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Greetings CMES Lions!
The last two weeks have provided us the joy we have all been missing! Our students did a wonderful job adjusting to their first full week! We continue to establish school procedures and routines and look forward to each day with anticipation as they build independence and stamina as learners and individuals. We are so proud of the progress and perseverance of each and every student!
Throughout this school year we will continue to focus on the whole child. Each grade level has been scheduled blocks of time, four days a week to address "What Individuals Need". This is our W.I.N. Block. Staff will be identifying student areas of strength and areas for growth and provide instruction during these blocks of time to meet students where they are. We will challenge, motivate, and empower our students in order for them to succeed. All of these opportunities will be supported through the positive relationships that we continue to foster on a daily basis.
We look forward to seeing our students grow, learn, and have fun!

VOLUNTEERS AND VISITORS
At this time, FCPS has asked that we do not have visitors in schools. Lunch with your child is not permitted at this time.
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!
Get involved in our children's learning this year.
Parents, family, alumni, and community members alike that are interested in supporting
our school this year can volunteer in many ways!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you must complete a short training and registration process as a first step.
We will then connect you with volunteer opportunities to help serve our students and school.
We can't wait to have you on board with us!
Click the following link to become a volunteer today: https://pubforms.fcps.org/view.php?id=78542.
