Keller Chronicle
December 2019
Season's Greetings
Thank you to all our families for joining us for Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you were unable to attend please contact your child's teacher to schedule a meeting in the near future. Keller school works as a team with the families to make the children as successful as they can be.
Please remember to fill out the 5 Essentials Survey for our school. Here is the link for parents to take the survey: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/. This is open to parents this year and the district would appreciate your feedback. We would like to wish you and your families a wonderful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year.

With the weather turning colder, I would like to take this opportunity to review our school closure notification process. If Kirby School District 140 needs to close schools due to inclement weather, families will receive notification from SchoolMessenger, our electronic messaging system, and an alert will be posted on our District/School websites. KSD 140 also communicates school closure information through Facebook, Twitter, and the Emergency Closing Center (ECC).
Keep in Touch!
I encourage you to continue to visit ksd140.org throughout the school year for key events and information pertaining to our school and the District. As always, please don't hesitate to contact me if you need assistance. My door is always open.
Respectfully,
Mrs. JoAnn Greene
