Mandela's role in Apartheid

Nelson Mandela is a South African activist and a politician. He is helping to end apartheid in South Africa. He is a member of the African National Congress (ANC). He is a leader of peaceful protests and armed resistance against the white minority's oppressive regime in a racially divided South Africa. He adopted the ANCYL's plan to achieve full citizenship for South Africans boycotts,strikes, civil disobedience, and other nonviolent methods.His great actions has put him in prison. He is the face of the anti-apartheid. The ANC also help make the Defiance Campaign and the Youth League. The Defiance Campaign is launched because the government isn't paying attention to the laws that the non- whites think that is unjust. The Defiance Campaign's strategy is to defy the oppressive laws. The Youth League is launched because people also want to be apart of the ANC.

DeKlerk is a politician. He is the president of South Africa. He is bringing the apartheid system of racial segregation to an end. He is teaming up with Nelson Mandela to end apartheid. He helped release Nelson Mandela from prison to continue to stop apartheid with him. Mandela and him are making a big difference in South Africa.
